On 9^th September, Shang Hai Pudong Development (Group) Co.,Ltd.and Pu Gang Technology Transfer Research Institute Co.,Ltd. visited HKCRC and signed a co-operation agreement on the transformation of construction technology.

At the signing ceremony, Dr Haobo Liang, the Associate Director of the HKCRC, said in his welcome speech that HKCRC has continued to broaden and deepen the frontiers of innovation in construction science and technology since its inception in 2020. Dr Liang hopes that Shanghai and Hong Kong could enhance exchanges and collaboration in construction technology R&D, integrate resources under the framework of Hong Kong-Shanghai co-operation, vigorously develop the new quality productivity of the construction industry, and accelerate the incubation of technology and the landing of products.

Ms Junlan Li, Chairperson of Shanghai Pudong Development (Group) Co., Ltd, said that the main businesses of Pudong Group are engineering infrastructure, real estate and urban services. Since its establishment in 1996, Pudong has been tasked with the mission and responsibility of building a high-quality Pudong, industrial positioning gradually shifted to urban development and operation and maintenance. At present, upgrading and transformation is one of the key tasks of Pudong Group. Through the cooperation between the three parties, Pudong Group hopes to introduce more innovative building technologies for the construction and development of the city.
