On August 25, the Hong Kong Center for Construction Robotics (HKCRC) and the HKUST Integrative Systems and Design successfully co-hosted a joint workshop titled "Embodied Construction: A New Construction Era."

The workshop began with the Associate Director of HKCRC, Dr. LIANG Haobo, offering a comprehensive overview of HKCRC's mission, research focus, and the impact of construction robotics in transforming the industry.

Prof. ZHANG Qian, Division Head of ISD at HKUST, delivered an inspiring keynote on “Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Health, Mobile Computing and Sensing, Wireless Networking, and Cyber Security", inspiring discussions on how these technologies are shaping society.

Throughout the day, professors, postdoctoral researchers, and scholars from both HKCRC and ISD shared their pioneering research and explored opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
